On our first appointment, we'll start with a dream sheet. I'll listen to all of your ideas, wants and needs to help you turn your dreams into reality. Are you thinking about new furniture, or adding a few accent pieces? I can shop for you, or we can go together. Or maybe you have a beloved piece of furniture that still has good bones. We can slipcover or reupholster it with the perfect fabric, selected from hundreds in my studio. Do you need a room painted or custom artwork? Or perhaps you'd like to add a beautiful rug or refresh a room with new flooring. I've got just the perfect people on my team to get the job done right.

Custom Blinds and Shades

Did you just move into a new house, but it feels like you're living in a fishbowl? Or do you just need to update some old blinds? We carry the full line of Hunter Douglas blinds, an industry leader in product safety, innovative lift systems, and award-winning designs. Everything will be brought to your home so can see the samples and colors in your natural light. We'll measure on our first appointment and help you make your best selection, taking into consideration function, style, light control, energy efficiency, and ease of operation. You don't even have to worry about installation. We do that too!

Custom Window Treatments

Are you ready to give your room warmth and show-stopping beauty? This is our specialty! Cynthia has over 30 years of sewing experience and loves creating one-of-a-kind window treatments. Cynthia will assess each room on her visit with you, and she will listen as you explain your ideas and personal style. Then she will help you make the best selection from rich fabrics, luxurious trims, and beautiful hardware for your project. For your convenience she will bring everything to your home. Cynthia will measure, create renderings, order all the materials, construct your window treatment, and install it. Each window treatment is completed with utmost attention to detail, giving you a true work of art. Whether your style is modern, traditional, eclectic or country. Or your taste is bold, elegant, or simple. Anything can be done, just for you.

Slipcovers

Cynthia can also create a slipcover to give new life to your favorite well-loved chair or sofa. This is a great alternative to reupholstering. We can select the perfect fabric from her studio.

Upholstery

Do you have a beloved piece of furniture that looks tired and worn? Or do your dining room chairs need a different color to coordinate with those new window treatments? We have great fabrics and trims to choose from to give it new life. We can even make a brand new footstool to go with your most comfortable reading chair. No piece is too big or too small to recover.

Soft Furnishings

Besides giving your windows that finishing touch, Cynthia Trygier Interiors will make anything else you need to complete the room: pillows, table skirts, bed skirts, comforters, bedspreads, chair cushions, bench cushions & even a Christmas tree skirt!

Commissioned Artistry

Not only does Cynthia create and construct her own patterns for one-of-a-kind window dressings, she has uncommon artistic abilities to design and create unique artwork.

Cynthia updated a small, drab guest bathroom in the 1940's Sigma Kappa sorority house using an ordinary geometric shape, the hexagon, and designed an extraordinary bathroom makeover. Cynthia created an abstract art interest on the wall with 3" hexagonal mirrors, and repeated this simple but eye-catching motif in the white wallpaper.

Click over to the gallery page to see the custom hand painting in the MSU Sigma Kappa house, including their motto (One Heart One Way) that she hand painted in calligraphy above the dining room archway, and painting their greek letters inside a five foot metal clock on their entryway wall, and an original abstract 3-canvas set painting in the living room.

Specialty Children's Beds

Do you want to create a dream bedroom for your child? This Noah's Ark bed is 9 feet long, complete with bookshelves in the center and on each end, and Cynthia even thought to build in space for underbed storage. Fit for an extra long twin mattress, this is a bed your child can grow with. How about a dollhouse bed or a jungle room, complete with painting scenery on the walls? Let's dream and create something unique and delightful together! 

Design Liaison

Are you thinking about adding on to your home or building a new home, but you're overwhelmed with the process? Maybe you just need an extra trusted hand to guide you in the right direction, to get the overall view. Or maybe you would like a liaison to help you communicate with your builder or contractors. Cynthia has come alongside many clients to be able to see the big picture and to bring her clients' wishes and concerns to the contractors attention so the details don't get lost in the process.
